Why are you running? I am running to address the issues that no one else seems to be dealing with.that is lower taxes, illegals immigrants, and term limits for commissioners
What qualities make you the best candidate? I am a God fearing man and I will bring that with me to the office, and I will hear and listen to the peoples needs and never ignore them, and I will do what ever I can do to keep taxes from going up anymore, and be a person who will look out for wasteful spending
What is the biggest issue facing Catawba County? What would you do to address it? Taxes is the biggest issue for Catawba County, because they hit the senior citizens first and then they get the rest of us and with high gas and food prices we need lower taxes not higher. People are having to sell there property because they can not aford the taxes on it. we have to make cuts in the county first and we can make a lot of little cuts that will add up. Then there are the parks that waste a lot of money that we do not need to be spending on. This money could be going to the schools.
How do you see Catawba County growing/changing over the next 10 years? I hope to see a lot of new industries coming into the county in the future, but I hope we do not have to give them lots of tax brakes and other benefits to come to the county because we need to get taxes from them not the people.
