Dale Jarrett gets a fond send-off at beginning of All-Star Race.

There will be two new-comers added to this year’s Sprint Cup Series All-Star Race: A.J. Allmendinger, driver of the 84 Red Bull car and Sam Hornish Jr. driver of the Mobil 1 car. This is the first time both have participated in the $1,000,000 race.

A.J. Allmendinger (No. 84) wins the Sprint Shootout and earns a spot in the All-Star Race.

This is a rough shootout race. 

Halfway through the Sprint Shootout, two cars are out of the race already.
